Disabled Access to Video Games: A Survey

With video games rising to become one of the largest and most consumed forms of entertainment in the world, the question of accessibility needs to come into play. While other traditional non-interactive modes of entertainment do not face this issue, the games industry requires a conversation to take place where gamers and designers work out how to make their medium both inclusive and engaging for those with physical and mental disabilities of all kinds.

This survey is part of my research aiming to define public perception of video games and the disabled. All questions are optional but I would appreciate any information and insight you can provide.

No information will be recorded for any other purposes.

This survey was created by the researcher, Mark Cook, an honours student in the BSc Information Technology Student at the University of the West of Scotland.
